Robin Hood Film Set 2009 part 6

Been rather busy the last few weeks so haven’t had the chance to walk up the set as much as I’d like. But here are the photos of my last trip for you. The castle is well underway now being painted to look like stone. Wooden walkways are also being added with I’m guessing a gate and portcullis soon after. No room for a moat or drawbridge as is on a hill. Defenses are being erected in front of the castle the same pencil type as which defends the fort sitting below.
Vegetable patches have been planted and keeps for animals have been put up within the centre few houses of the set.
Check out the Robin sitting on the defenses. Thought it was quite nice and slightly ironic.

Thank you! Filming the next three weeks in Wales I see, too but doesn’t look like they are done there just yet.
They did a big seen in village on 2 july burning a lot of the houses, i missed it must have been a big fire! most of roves burned
They burnt a number of the wooden huts down last week… looked pretty spectacular!
