It is not often when browsing through Google street view that you come across anything of real beauty but Aaron Hobson has found some rather rare examples of what the Google car cam has caught while traveling around the world.

Abandoned theme park photography
There has always been something creepy about theme parks, the creaky rides and queuing up, while hundreds of kids scream in joy and fear just above your heads. The thought that is always in the back of my head is what if something went wrong with the ride and what actually happens once the park closes at night (I’ve watched too many horror movies!). As you may have seen in the Daily Mail Ridley Scott has been filming some scenes recently of what looks like French soldiers attacking a town. So I think filming will be starting soon in Bourne woods. I had a really cool comment today from a background artist working on the sets who said:
It has been an extraordinary experience “living” in Nottingham village most days and I’ve hated coming back to London. We have animals there and this week the soldiers turned out in force and it all came truly alive. Read the rest of this entry »
